It’s become pretty clear that Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds) is everybody’s new favorite superhero/anti-superhero.  The film had tremendous success at the box off as well as with home release sales.  It’s no wonder that there is already discussion surrounding teaming the character up with other characters for an upcoming film.

Just last month, Bryan Singer discussed the possibility of a Deadpool and X-Men crossover film.  At the time, Singer said:

“If you take a character as irreverent and meta as Deadpool and connect him to something as grounded and serious as X-Men, you have to do it carefully and gently. When you drop them all in together it can be a disaster. That has to be done delicately, but there’s plenty of room to do it.”

With there being plenty of room for a crossover to happen, who would be the best X-Men character for the job?  Well, Evan Peters knows exactly who he would like to see in a crossover with Deadpool.

Peters, who played Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse, sat down with The Wrap and discussed the possibility of a solo Quicksilver film.  When asked if a solo feature film were possible, Peters replied:

“Oh my god, I don’t know. It would take three years to shoot, wouldn’t it? Yeah I don’t know, I would love to do that.  I think that would be amazing!”

Quicksilver quickly became a fan favorite from Days of Future Past and, a stand alone film would most likely be very well received from the fan-base.  Peters also threw out another option as well:

“I would like to see a Deadpool/Quicksilver movie.  I think that would be really fun.”

We think so too, Evan Peters.  We think so too!

Would you want to see a Deadpool/Quicksilver film made?  Who else would you like to see team up with everyone’s favorite Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool?
