Chris Pratt Gives Great Life Advice at #MTVAwards
At the MTV Movie & TV Awards, which aired on Monday evening, a few awesome celebrities were honored with special awards. Chris Pratt was one of those celebs and the award he was given was fitting, more now than ever.
His award was the Generation Award, and it comes as no surprise that he was the 2018 recipient. The criteria for the award is as follows: ‘given to an artist who has shown us a variety of impressive roles, a personal and professional flair and of course, an awesome level of talent.‘
Pratt has taken on a number of iconic pop culture roles and, in turn, given life to some of our favorite characters. From taking on Star-Lord to Owen Grady, he’s having a particularly busy and exciting summer. When he was called up to the stage to accept the Generation Award, he was given the floor to make a speech, and he ran with it.
We were given 9 life lessons by Chris Pratt, and we loved every single one of them. With a smile, his signature humor, and some heartfelt wisdom – he spoke to fans across the world and encouraged us all to believe a little bit more. Not just in ourselves and others, but in God – a God who loves us all and wants us to succeed.
