Chris Hemsworth might be trading in Mjölnir for some sick Ray-Bans and Neuralyzer!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Thor star is in early negotiations for the upcoming Men in Black spinoff film from Sony Pictures.

The untitled spinoff is expected to revive the Men in Black franchise by adding new characters into the same universe that was once occupied by Agent K (played by Tommy Lee Jones) and Agent J (played by Will Smith).  Sony is reportedly looking round out its casting with a diverse ensemble.

Helmed by Fate of the Furious director F. Gary Gray, the script will be penned by Matt Holloway and Art Marcum who wrote Iron Man and will bring Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald back to the franchise as producers.  Steven Spielberg will also be returning as an executive producer.
