CBS Cancels ‘Braindead’
Folks, there will be no more singing previews… CBS cancelled Braindead.
Braindead premiered in June and featured Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Aaron Tveit, Tony Shalhoub, Danny Pino, Nikki M. James, Jonny Ray Gill, Jan Maxwell and Zach Grenier.
It opened to an audience of over 4.5 million but ratings slowly declined as the season progressed. The final episode had just over 2 million viewers.
The show was based in Washington D.C. in the center of politics. There is already a lot of tension and drama right? Now add space bugs!
Personally, I am kind of sad about this. I enjoyed this show even if it was strange. Tony Shalhoub is always a joy to watch on the screen and Aaron Tveit is positively adorable. And Mary Elizabeth Winstead makes an excellent leading lady.
How do you feel about Braindead’s cancellation?
