AMC Theaters Clocks ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ as Longest MCU Film Yet

With just weeks until Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters, fans are getting antsy with a nervous sense of anticipation. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again (and again and probably again after that), this film will change everything about the MCU as we know it.

So when we find out that new merch is hitting stores soon with information about our favorite characters or wearable gear with their faces on it – we run out to get our hands on whatever we can. Today, however, some news hit the internet that was more about the film and less about its promo.

According to AMC Theaters, the run-time for Avengers: Infinity War is listed as 2 hours and 36 minutes which knocks Captain America: Civil War from the current top spot. The run-time for that movie is 2 hours and 27 minutes.

Just days ago, it was revealed that a listed runtime for Infinity War was 2 hours and 30 minutes exactly but it was quickly assumed that it was a placeholder of sorts.

Six minutes more may not seem like a lot, but when it’s a film of this proportion – it means everything. A lot can happen in six minutes when you’re watching your favorite heroes take on a truly dark evil.
