The city of Los Angeles, California will pay tribute to the Caped Crusader, the late Adam West, by shining the Bat-Signal Thursday night.
DC Comics announced that on Thursday at 9 p.m., the mayor of Los Angeles, Gil Garcetti and LAPD Police Chief Charlie Beck will light the Bat-Signal. The lighting of the signal represents the call for help from the hero. DC also teased that there may be appearances of “surprise Bat-guests.”
The announcement was made through DC Comic’s Twitter page.

All fans that are planning on attending are encouraged to cosplay in their favorite Batman attire. For those fans that are not in the area and wish to pay tribute, West’s family encourages them to donate to the Adam West Memorial Fund for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Camp Rainbow Gold.
