When we think of summer, we think of music – festivals, concerts, award shows, what have you – it’s truly the season that requires it’s own soundtrack, and it’s certainly given one each year. Performers schedule tours all year round, but summer tours have a special feel to them. It’s warm, you’re taking vacation days from work, on break from school, and generally having an incredible time in the sun.

This summer, there are a lot of tours scheduled across the US and we picked five of our favorites to share with you. From Bruno Mars to Ed Sheeran – you definitely won’t want to miss these tours.

5. The Honda Civic Tour  – OneRepublic

The Honda Civic Tour allows musical acts, and new Hondas, to tour around the country for a summer playing an incredible lineup of shows. From One Direction to Nick Jonas, the headliners of this tour have made their mark in music history, and OneRepublic is no different. Their sound is unique, their songs are meaningful, and they sound just as incredible live as they do when recorded. This tour is a lot of fun, you won’t want to miss.

4. Bruno Mars

You could tell us that you didn’t have Bruno’s latest album on repeat for like, weeks, but we know you’d be lying. 24K Magic was full of songs that you could just play through, you didn’t have to skip a song here or there to keep up the flow of great tunes. Bruno isn’t just an extraordinary vocalist, he’s a performer. He dances with moves reminiscent of Michael Jackson and he appears to float on stage during some of his live sets. His concert will probably be the most overall exciting show of the summer.

3. Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is a living legend and if she’s coming to a city near you, chances are, you’ve already scored tickets. Her songs are stunning on the radio but her live performances are even more so. She gets the crowd involved, she gives it her all on stage, and she absolutely exceeds your expectations when you walk into one of her shows. She also coordinates some incredible outfits with her songs so be ready for a very visual performance as well.

2. Guns N’ Roses

While this tour has been going on for, oh, six legs now – it’s a can’t miss show, even if you’ve attended one before. Guns N’ Roses are absolutely music legends and there’s something special about every show they put on. In addition, this tour marks the first time since 1993 that Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan have performed together.

1. Ed Sheeran

So, it’s Ed Sheeran- and you don’t need much more reason than that. After taking a year off to live, fall in love, and experience life – Ed came back stronger than ever with his newest album. With songs like ‘Shape of You’ and ‘Galway Girl’ – there’s no doubt that his tour will be one of the most incredible of the entire year – not just the summer.
