21 Fan Reactions to the ‘Veronica Mars’ Revival That Made Us Smile
Marshmallows were treated to quite the surprise yesterday when Veronica Mars was suddenly trending on Twitter four years after the crowd-funded film hit theaters. Thankfully they were rewarded with some glorious news – Hulu is extremely close to signing off on an eight-episode revival!
Veronica Mars has been on quite the journey since it first premiered on The WB in 2004. While it wasn’t a huge rating success, the show quickly gathered a cult following, who have been extremely vocal about wanting more of Veronica and the gang since its sudden cancellation after season three in 2007. The fans, aka “Marshmallows”, are so passionate they even helped creator Rob Thomas and series star Kristen Bell raise enough money to make a feature film.
While it was super exciting for fans to get more Veronica Mars, it wasn’t enough. So, when the news broke about the upcoming miniseries, things went completely wild on Twitter. We’ve gathered up some of our favorite reactions to the news for your enjoyment.

All due respect to everything going on today, but #VeronicaMars is coming back and I’m happier than I’ve been since the movie was released. I just need Veronica and Logan to be together and happy and for us to actually see it because their reunion in the movie was not enough. pic.twitter.com/ONrHGqNaWG

While the revival hasn’t been officially confirmed by Hulu, we think that the fan response to the news has all but secured the miniseries. Be sure to check back to Fan Fest for more Veronica Mars updates!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
