From the Broadway stage to Disney Studios!

Hamilton star Lin Manuel-Miranda, who composed several songs for Disney’s upcoming animated film Moana, took over their Instagram account yesterday, taking requests from fans as to what Disney songs he should sing. From The Little Mermaid to Newsies to Mulan, no Disney song was left unsung. Personally, my favorites were his renditions of “Street Rat” from Aladdin and a crossover of “The Bells of Notre Dame” from Hunchback of Notre Dame and “Belle” from Beauty and the Beast. Petition for Lin to play either Aladdin or Clopin in the live-action films! Check out the videos below:

Lin even sang a “Gaston” duet with Moana star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and sung a snippet from a new song from the film!

Swoon. Talk about Man Crush Monday, am I right?

Moana is scheduled to be released on November 23rd.

What Disney rendition was your favorite? What Disney song would you want to hear Lin sing?
