Zachary Braff is returning to TV in ‘Start Up’ Comedy
What do you have when a guy with a wife and two kids makes the crazy decision to quit his good job and dive into the brave new world of starting a business? You have Zach Braff’s new comedy, Start Up! J.D. is coming back to TV!
Eaaaagleeee!!!!
Braff is reuniting with Scrubs co-executive producer Matt Tarses on this project and is set to direct the pilot as well as star in the series.
Tarses wrote Start Up and it is based on the podcast Start Up by Alex Blumberg. The title of the comedy will likely change, however, so that it isn’t confused with the StartUp TV series drama on Crackle, starring Martin Freeman and Adam Brody.
ABC landed the series which was a popular pursuit for many competitive networks.
