It’s midterm season! Sheldon broke the curve, making it a not so jolly class.
Dr. Sturgis calls George to hang out. John tells him that the university wants Sheldon to enroll full time. The university also wants to offer George a job and to sweeten the pot, they’ll offer more money.
The offer is amazing and the high school principal wants to beat it because he can’t afford to lose Sheldon. The state funds the school generously because of Sheldon’s test scores. The school is tasked with making Sheldon and George are happy enough to stay.
George is pampered with a new chair and parking spot while Sheldon gets spoiled with Star Trek and a faculty restroom key.
Coach Dale’s day job is owning an outdoor sports and recreation store and he gets Georgie a job. Now that he has money, Georgie is getting disrespectful, just like his father. Mary, not happy with how money is being obsessed over, takes the family’s things. Meemaw calms Mary down and the family gets their things back.
Sheldon will finish the year out in high school but come fall, he’ll be going to college.
I enjoyed tonight’s episode, I’ve never related more to Pastor Jeff than I did tonight. Stores are dangerous! Haha, I’ve never been compelled to by a toaster oven, but I do get his point. Also, Georgie, money is a trap! Invest don’t spend! Learn from literally everyone who had a job in high school. It’s not worth it.
See you all on Dec. 5! Happy Thanksgiving!
