It has been less than a month since Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman signed off with a ‘Mythbusters’ final episode of epic proportions, however, according to an article by Hollywood Reporter, Science Channel is already planning to bring the show back.
‘Mythbusters’ was, quite possibly, the coolest show on TV for anyone remotely interested in science, engineering, physics or just watching things blow up. For 14 seasons, Savage and Hyneman (with the help of Buster and the Mythbusters crew, of course) put popular legends and myths through scientific tests to see if they were plausible, confirmed or busted.
While it is not yet known if the new show will follow the same format as the original, it has been announce that it will be doing so without Savage and Hyneman. Instead, Science Channel has started a ‘Search for the Next Mythbusters’. In, what appears to be the start of a reality show to choose the next cast, Science Channel is asking for applications along with a 90-second video displaying your scientific awesomeness.
