Yellowstone Spinoff Lawmen: Bass Reeves Adds Mo Brings Plenty, Dale Dickey, Tosin Morohunfola, Margot Bingham
The upcoming Yellowstone spinoff Lawmen: Bass Reeves has added four new cast members, including two from the original show.
Mo Brings Plenty, who plays Rainwater’s right-hand man Mo in Yellowstone, will join the cast of Lawmen: Bass Reeves as Minco Dodge, a Choctaw Native American who is friends with the titular Bass Reeves, played by David Oyelowo.
The other new cast members are Dale Dickey as Widow Dolliver, Tosin Morohunfola as “Jackrabbit” Cole, and Margot Bingham as Sarah Jumper.
Lawmen: Bass Reeves is a limited series that tells the story of Bass Reeves, the first Black deputy U.S. marshal west of the Mississippi River. Reeves was a legendary lawman who captured over 3,000 criminals without ever being wounded.
The series is being produced by Taylor Sheridan, who is also the creator of Yellowstone. Sheridan is known for his realistic portrayals of the American West, and Lawmen: Bass Reeves is sure to be no exception.
The series is set to premiere on Paramount+ in 2023.
