The Big Bang Theory has had Star Trek alum on the show for years and they’ll finally have Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner, on the show.
The Big Bang Theory co-creator and showrunner Bill Prady is a big Star Trek fan, so it’s no surprise that the show has heavy Star Trek elements, including George Takei, LeVar Burton, Brent Spiner, Leonard Nimoy (voiced his action figure) and of course, Wil Wheaton.
The upcoming episode, titled “The D&D Vortex” is packed with guest stars and was announced via Twitter telling fans to “Get ready for the ultimate Dungeons and Dragons battle coming soon.”

Shatner responded to the announcement playfully saying “Get your Icosahedron die ready for I’m out to win this game!” He even tweeted out his prediction for how the game is going to go, putting himself in first place and leaving Sheldon in the dust.
