Who won? The 2016 Tony Awards Winners

Last night the 70th Annual Tony Awards were presented on the stage of the Beacon Theatre in New York City.

The Tony Award recognizes achievement and excellence in live theater. The awards are presented by The American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League. The awards recognize not only the performances on stage, but those backstage as well.

So without further adieu, here are last night’s winners-

And while last night was full of recognition, celebration and smiles, with James Corden keeping the mood light, the crowd couldn’t help but feel a heavy sorrow as they honored the victims of the mass shooting in Orlando.
