Hey everyone! Can you believe it’s August? This summer is flying and honestly I am not ready to say goodbye. The only good thing about this August is that Sharknado 5 premieres this weekend!

But if sharks, disastrous weather and hundreds of cameos aren’t your thing, head on over to the movie theater for these other options.

The Dark Tower

The last Gunslinger, Roland Deschain, has been locked in an eternal battle with Walter O’Dim, also known as the Man in Black, determined to prevent him from toppling the Dark Tower, which holds the universe together. With the fate of the worlds at stake, good and evil will collide in the ultimate battle as only Roland can defend the Tower from the Man in Black.

Amidst the chaos of the Detroit Rebellion, with the city under curfew and as the Michigan National Guard patrolled the streets, three young African American men were murdered at the Algiers Motel.

STEP documents the senior year of a girls’ high-school step dance team against the background of inner-city Baltimore.

Wind River

An FBI agent teams with a town’s veteran game tracker to investigate a murder that occurred on a Native American reservation.

A mother stops at nothing to recover her kidnapped son.
