In honor of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them coming out on DVD, I thought I’d share a little video I found with you guys.
But first, you must answer me this. If Deadpool went to Hogwarts, what house would he be in?
You’d think with his “Harry Potter-esque” tendencies and color scheme that he’d be a Gryffindor. Or because of his mouth and resourceful means of murder that he’d be a Slytherin. I mean the zamboni, come on, you can’t deny that that was resourceful. He could even be a Ravenclaw because of his wit and cleverness! But would you ever consider him to belong to Hufflepuff house?
Hufflepuffs are known to value hard work, dedication, patience, loyalty, and fair play. Well, Deadpool is loyal and dedicated and he can’t help it if being an antihero is hard work. Plus the Hufflepuff mascot is a badger! That’s the most awesome animal ever! AND he did find Francis, so there’s that.
So honestly Deadpool could fit into anyone of these. Does anyone dare to take a guess?
Let’s watch a little video to find out.
So there you have it, folks! Deadpool is a Hufflepuff! And as it turns out, he has always been a Hufflepuff. Take it from Nick Filardi, the colorist, who had this to say on Reddit.
“I’m the colorist for that story and originally made him a gryffindor. We went back and forth on a couple rounds of corrections and the editors insisted Hufflepuff. That isn’t a casual joke. That’s deliberate deadpool cannon.”
You can tweet at Nick @Nickfil and catch Deadpool 2 out sometime next year!
