HBO’s Westworld will be making its debut in a month and half. But don’t worry, there are photos to hold fans over until its October premiere!
The network has released a few first look photos at the series, an update of the film of the same name, according to Nerdist.
Based on the 1973 film from Michael Crichton, Westworld will take viewers through a “dark odyssey” that combines elements of the future and the past, in the form of a theme park of sorts, to explore the evolution of artificial intelligence as the creators and the Westworld visitors interact however they please with these artificial beings, examining “the evolution of sin.”
The star-studded 10-episode series features Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, Luke Hemsworth and Clifton Collins, Jr.
Check out the teaser trailer that was released that offers up a peek at just how dark the series may get and just how far the human/AI relationship will go.
Westworld is set to premiere October 2 on HBO.
