It is almost ridiculous to think Borderlands 3 is right around the corner. Back in February we were just hoping for a game announcement. But here we are, just under two months away from one of the biggest releases of the year. That usually means a ramp up in marketing, and we now have a new trailer to get us even more excited.
The trailer, So Happy Together, is set to the song of the same name by The Turtles. It features the main characters dancing and using abilities as the blow up bandits to the music. The crazy style of the series is very apparent through the wild and creative transitions. Unfortunately, no new gameplay is shown (The trailer calls out “Not actual gameplay) so we will have to wait and see if there are any plans to give us more. Borderlands 3 will be out so soon it really may not matter.
In case you missed it (I am late in telling you about it), the team recently dropped another hilarious video two weeks ago. Claptrap has a new series on Pandora to show you, filmed by his bandit pal Steve. Definitely check it out as it displays several awesome animals you will see around the world. As for poor Claptrap, he gets himself into more trouble as he continues to make our bellies ache from all the laughing.
I am super excited for Borderlands 3 to release. There are multiple versions of the game you can pre-order already. The standard will get you the Gold Weapons Skins Pack for ordering. If you want more, a Deluxe and Super Deluxe edition also exist. The Deluxe has a Retro, Neon, and Gearbox Cosmetic pack, as well as the Toybox Weapon pack. You will also get XP and Loot Drop boost mods. The Super Deluxe includes everything above but also the season pass! Just make sure to pre-order and pick up quickly as it will raise $20 in price four days after launch.
Borderlands 3 will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC. It will be on the Epic Store for PC exclusively for the first 6 months. You can pre-order now for pick up or download on September 13th, 2019.
