He stole your hearts as Peter Kavinsky in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and then ~kind of~ did the same in Sierra Burgess is a Loser, now, Noah Centineo is back to fulfill all of your Netflix rom-com dreams in the new trailer for The Perfect Date.
The film follows high school student Brooks Rattigan, who is struggling to accept that he won’t be able to afford Yale, should he be accepted. That is until he overhears a classmate saying that his uncle is paying him to take his own cousin to the school dance. A lightbulb goes off for Brooks.
He offers to take her to the dance just as long as he gets the money. That’s when he meets Celia (Austin & Aly’s Laura Marano). The two spend a perfectly fun evening together and she tells him that there’s probably some money to be made in chauffering troubled rich girls around.
And once again, another lightbulb goes off for Brooks!
“Every date would be custom built. They could pick my personality, my interests, whether I’m a listener or a talker.” It eventually leads to Shelby (Riverdale’s Camila Mendes) who just so happens to be Brooks’ dream girl.
Of course, along the way Brooks is going to have to learn the hard way just how easy it is to lose yourself when you are constantly trying to be something else.
But while he figures it out, one this is for sure – we will get to see Centineo is all sorts of fun costumes!
