WATCH: New ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Trailer Releases More Plot Clues

Another trailer for Blade Runner 2049 has been released and this time we get a little more insight into the plot and characters.

An LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling) is out to find some answers. The basis of the new film takes place thirty years after the original movie. In K’s search for information, the new trailer starts with a scene of him in a house with an unknown character (Dave Bautista). The conversation seems to quickly go south as it erupts into a fight.  Did you catch Bautista’s make up? A far cry from his Guardians of the Galaxy costume!

The trailer then leads into Neander Wallace (Jared Leto’s uber creepy character) eerily declaring, “I have the lock and he has the key.” Apparently, there is some big dark secret and if it gets out, as Robin Wright’s character states, “We’ve bought ourselves a war.” Whatever information they have uncovered is detrimental to their civilization and the world as they know it. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait to discover what the big revelation is, however judging from the new scenes, it looks like the ride to discovery is going to at least include some serious action sequences!

Seeing Harrison Ford revisit his original Rick Deckard persona and then join forces with Gosling is amazing! Ford seems to be the one actor who can successfully bring back old favorites and continue to reinvigorate them in new films – Star Wars and Indiana Jones anyone?
