Watch ‘Making It’ Stars Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman Engage in a Crafty Pun-Off
It won’t be long now before Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman give us the Parks and Recreation reunion we’ve all been waiting for, sort of. While Poehler and Offerman won’t be heading back to the Parks Department of Pawnee, they will be teaming up once more, and this time, things are going to get crafty! They will be co-hosting a brand new show coming to NBC this month called Making It. The series is a fun DIY crafting show with a bit of a friendly competition thrown in as well.
As part of the promotion for the upcoming series, Poehler and Offerman kicked off the competition with a duel to the death! Ok, so that didn’t exactly happen, but they did have a mini competition of sorts to kick things off.
When you have two actors, like Poehler and Offerman, who have the same sly and cunning sense of humor capabilities, what better way to kick off a friendly competition than by a battle of wits, right?
Poehler and Offerman faced off against each other in a crafty pun-off that will have any DIYer completely cracking up. Check out their hilarious craft pun-off below:
As NBC explains, “each episode of Making It will consist of two projects, cleverly designed by Poehler and Offerman, that test the Makers’ ability to think outside of the box. The challenges are also designed to bring out skilled insights and takeaway, touching personal stories and lots of laughs.
First, the faster-craft round will be a timed challenge that will test their ability to not only work quickly but imaginatively as well. Next, the Makers will move to the master craft collection, a one-of-a-kind themed challenge in which the competitors will need to use their expertise and get inventive in order to assemble a winning craft that fits the theme of that week. In the end, only one will emerge victoriously and be named Master Maker.”
