Game of Thrones fans are bracing themselves for what is sure to be a brutal and bloody final season for the popular HBO series, but before Westeros goes to battle over the Iron Throne, Jon Snow is stopping by Saturday Night Live this coming weekend.
Kit Harington, who plays Snow on the series, will be hosting the long-running sketch comedy show for the first time on Saturday. If you plan on tuning in, you can bet that there will be at least one (probably more) hilarious Game of Thrones related skits lined up for the night’s programming, but Harington and the SNL cast are getting a head start on the parodies.
In the most recent promotion for the upcoming episode, SNL cast member Leslie Jones intercepts Harington when he shows up at studio 8H for rehearsal. What happens next mirrors a pivotal moment from the Game of Thrones series, and features Kit Harington in a beige colored body suit doing a walk of shame while being pelted with donuts. Seriously.
Harington is hosting SNL this weekend with musical guest Sara Bareilles. Check out the hilarious promo below.

In addition to the eighth and final season, HBO is also currently developing a Game of Thrones spinoff. Starring Naomi Watts and written by Kingsman writer Jane Goldman, the prequel takes place thousands of years before Game of Thrones and “chronicles the world’s descent from the Golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. Only one thing is for sure: from the horrifying secrets of Westeros’ history to the true origin of the white walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend… it’s not the story we think we know.”
The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones will premiere on April 14th.
