WATCH: Here is a Deleted Scene from ‘Deadpool 2’
It’s been 24 hours since that Deadpool 2 arrived at your homes in digital form. The Deadpool social media pages are celebrating like no other. IGN released an exclusive video of a deleted scene that comes with the digital release, where the Merc with a mouth has changed his ways and is in true dad-mode.
It seems like a completely different Wade Wilson than what we saw in the theater cut. Here he’s finding ways to be better for the environment and methods of name tagging things in the fridge. It seems all very homey and fatherly of him.
Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) stops Wade (Ryan Reynolds) in his rant about next months meal plan and tells him she’s not buying this ‘weak’ act. Yukio (Shiori Kutsuna) is fast to protect Wade right next to Colossus (Stefan Kapičić). The best thing about this scene is that we see a civil Wade Wilson, but he’s still our Anti-hero somewhere, and he can’t stop himself making an inappropriate joke.
It is a great scene and shows that one side of Wade that Colossus was waiting for a long time, we do get why it is a deleted scene. It’s not very important to the existing plot of the movie, and because the Super Duper Cut is already a good two hours long, we don’t need any fillers for this movie.
