Warner Bros. Promises ‘It’ Is Gonna Be Even Scarier!

Warner Bros. blockbuster movie It received some attention earlier this week during CinemaCon held in Las Vegas. Based on a novel by iconic horror author Stephen King, It’s recent film adaptation mixed horror with nostalgia and well-placed humor to attract a wide audience. The formula worked! Released in September 2017, It surprised the movie realm by grossing more than $700 dollars worldwide. It’s no wonder that a date for the sequel was announced just a week later and director Andy Muschetti promises that It 2 will be even scarier than the first and warned fans to take precautions…

“”Bring your adult diapers”, he told the audience at Caesar’s Palace in a video clip on the second day of the CinemaCon convention of the nation’s theater owners during the Warner Bros. presentation.”

It 2 will fast forward 27 years as Pennywise the Clown reappears to wreak murderous mayhem on the small town of Derry, Maine. Now as adults, The Losers Club must once again reunite to battle evil.
Filming for It 2 is set to begin this summer and a couple top-notch celebrities have already been selected as the casting continues. Jessica Chastain will be playing the role of adult Beverly. Bill Hader and James McAvoy are currently in negotiations to play adult Richie and Bill respectively. It 2 is scheduled to hit theaters September 6, 2019.
