‘Man of Steel’ Sequel In Active Development At Warner Bros
Following the report that Suicide Squad broke box office records on its opening weekend, Warner Bros has some huge news to announce.
TheWrap has learned exclusively that a sequel to Zack Snyder’s 2013 film Man of Steel is going into active development at Warner Bros. The same source that provided the information also commented that the sequel is a “top priority” for the studio and that getting Superman’s character right is of “tantamount importance.”
Although the sequel is a long way from a release date, the insider believes that it will come after the Batman solo film, starring and directed by Ben Affleck. Affleck along with Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, can next be seen in Justice League, scheduled for a November 2017 release, which will also be directed by Snyder.
What do you think of the news? Should there be a Man of Steel sequel?
