‘Vikings’ Preview: “All The Prisoners”

Published on December 15th, 2019 | Updated on December 15th, 2019 | By FanFest

In last week’s Vikings episode, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) becomes the reluctant leader for women from nearby villages. Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) and Torvi (Georgia Hirst) begin to map out plans for Kattegat to fulfill King Bjorn’s (Alexander Ludwig) dreams for the great trading city. As Ubbe and Torvi watch over his kingdom, King Olaf (Steven Berkoff) makes a surprise move on King Bjorn and his army. This ruins their attempt to save King Harald’s (Peter Franzén). Meanwhile, Ivar (Alex Høgh Andersen) witnesses Prince Oleg’s (Danila Kozlovsky) cruelty against his own brothers.

In this week’s preview, Lagertha and the people of the village stand up to the raiders. Hvitserk’s (Marco Ilsø) mental states cause him to further disappoint Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith.) In Kiev, Prince Oleg shifts his focus to Scandinavia; however, Ivar may not be on the same page.

Will Lagertha and the villages outsmart their enemies or are they headed for a devastating defeat? Did King Bjorn make it out of the deadly waters? Can Prince Oleg really be trusted in his commitment to Ivar?

Catch up on last week’s episode here, and watch the preview for Vikings episode “All The Prisoners” below.

The official description of the episode is listed as follows:

Lagertha leads her village’s response to the recent attacks but despite her best efforts, when the inevitable attack comes, the consequences are tragic. Olaf has a bold new plan for the future of Norway. In Kiev, although Ivar discusses Oleg’s ambitions for Scandinavia, he’s actually more interested in the plight of Igor, the young heir who Oleg controls.

Vikings airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on History.
