NetherRealm and Warner Bros. Entertainment has recently dropped a trailer for their upcoming fighting game, Injustice 2, and the hype is REAL.
The sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us, Injustice 2 sees superhero Batman and his fellow insurgents fighting against Superman and his remaining team, as well as new group The Society after the fall of The High Councilor. Although we have yet to get the full disclosed character playlist, it is rumored that the roster consisting of heroes and villains is what Warner Bros. Interactive calls “the biggest DC roster ever offered in a fighting game”.
Check out the latest video game trailer below:
The fighting video game will have a Gear System, which allows “Injustice 2” players to customize the appearance of their chosen villain or DC hero. NetherRealm Studios will likely add some sort of RPG elements in the game.
Another possible new gameplay feature in the game could be the 2vs2 team battle. The 2vs2 in the Injustice 2 video game could likely compete with other fighting games, just like in Marvel vs. Capcom.
Furthermore, aside from the “Injustice 2” characters that have already been confirmed for the upcoming video game, the roster is predicted to include, the Green Arrow, Flash, Black Canary, two Green Lanterns (Hal Jordan and John Stewart), Brainiac, Robin (Damian Wayne Robin), Scarecrow, Black Adam, Doctor Fate, Mr. Freeze, Catwoman, Power Girl, Joker, Bane and Cyborg.
The official character playlist for this game has been under top secret… but we are hoping we will get some more character reveals soon! Be sure to check back with us for the latest updates.
Injustice 2, is set to roll out this May 16th, 2017.
