Victoria Beckham Confirms There is No Plan for Spice Girls Tour

If you were hoping to add a little “Spice” to your concert list this year I am afraid you will be disappointed. Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice has confirmed that the Spice Girls have not reunited and will not be going on tour. She told Vogue magazine, “I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour.”during an interview at the New York Fashion Week.
The rumors started after a girl’s lunch date in London on February 2nd and the internet went crazy. According eonline.com, the women released a statement: “We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching-up and reminiscing about the amazing times we have spent together. We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for The Spice Girls. The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together. We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of The Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations.”
However, Victoria Beckham did go on to say:
“There’s something so strong in the message of what the Spice Girls stood for. What is that in the future? What does that look like? We were just bouncing ideas around. Brainstorming.”
So all of you Spice Girl fans do not give up hope just yet they may just ‘Spice Up Your Life’ our lives again someday!
