‘Versace’ Star Cody Fern Joins Ryan Murphy’s ‘AHS: Apocalypse’

It looks like we’ve got one more person checking into the upcoming season of American Horror Story, which was recently revealed to be titled ApocalypseTeaming back up with Ryan Murphy, The Assassination of Gianni Versace alum’ Cody Fern will officially be joining the latest installment of the award-winning anthology series, which will serve as a crossover between Season 1’s Murder House and Season 3’s  Coven. Murphy tweeted out the news of Fern’s casting, announcing that he will be playing a grown-up version of Michael Langdon, the murderous baby from Murder House.

Since Murder House aired way back in 2011, let’s refresh on just exactly who that is. When Connie Britton’s character Vivien was raped by Rubber Man (Evan Peters as Tate) in Season 1 she gave birth to Michael, however, he was later taken by Jessica Lange’s character Constance. Michael was believed to be the incarnation of the antichrist, a theory that came to fruition in the finale when he murdered his nanny.

Out of the Murder House cast Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson, both of whom also appeared in Coven, are confirmed to be returning for Apocalypse and from season 3’s witch-inspired seasonKathy Bates is expected to be reprising her role as Madame Delphine LaLaurie as is Emma Roberts. According to Murphy though, fans should expect to see some more familiar faces.

We will be sure to keep you updated on more cast announcements as Murphy reveals them but for now, be sure to clear your calendar on September 12th when AHS: Apocalypse returns to FX!
