Venom 3 Star Says Production Starts “Very Soon”

Principal photography for Venom 3 is set to begin soon, as confirmed by Juno Temple, a newcomer to the franchise. At the Emmys FYC event for Ted Lasso, Temple revealed that filming for Venom 3 will start “very, very soon” and expressed her excitement to be a part of it, although her role in the film has not yet been disclosed.
As for the plot of Venom 3, details remain scarce. Kelly Marcel, the writer of the first two films, will be taking on the director’s role for the third installment. She is joined by executive producers Tom Hardy, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker.
Andy Serkis, the director of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, hinted at the potential for intriguing storylines in the Venomverse and mentioned that Marcel and Hardy have likely thought about the future of the franchise beyond Venom 3. He emphasized the importance of considering the overall arc of a franchise and planning for future installments.
Tom Hardy, who portrays Venom’s symbiotic anti-hero Eddie Brock, echoed the sentiment, noting the significance of each film standing on its own while still maintaining continuity and potential for future sequels. He emphasized the need for surprises and continuity as the franchise progresses.
An exact release date for Venom 3 has yet to be announced. Meanwhile, the first Venom film is available for streaming on Disney+, and Venom: Let There Be Carnage can be purchased through various movie platforms.
