Ubisoft Reveals Assassin’s Creed Odyssey DLC Which Contains a Special Surprise

We are one week away from the release of the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which takes players on a journey through Ancient Greece. Ubisoft shared an update on the post-game material that would be available for Odyssey, which included two main story acrs that will contain three chapters each. The two arcs are titled “Legacy of the First Blade” (launching in December) and “The Fate of Atlantis” (expected Spring 2019).

“Legacy of the First Blade” will introduce players to the early predecessors of the Assassins, including the first person to ever use the Hidden Blade. As the name “Fate of Atlantis” implies, this arc will deal with the myths and legends of Greek Mythology. There will also be a whole slew of free missions that will become available to all players and is called “The Lost Tales of Greece.”

That wasn’t all they announced, however, as Ubisoft had a special surprise for those who purchased a season pass for Odyssey.

Season pass holders will be granted access to the HD remaster of Assassin’s Creed III, which includes all of the original game’s content as well as Assassin’s Creed Liberation. So if you haven’t purchased a season pass yet, now’s the time as it’s unclear if Assassin’s Creed III will be released on its own. When you really look at it, the season pass is about the price of a remastered game, so it’s worth it for the game plus all of the bonus content for Odyssey (which looks incredibly cool).

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Windows starting Friday, October 5, 2018.
