The hit time-traveling drama, “Outlander,” will see at least two more seasons, according to Starz. No word on cast or premiere dates were given with the May 31st announcement, but show runner, Ronald D Moore, is expected to remain at the helm.
The announcement also gave information on what fans can expect from seasons 3 and 4. Seasons 1 and 2 (currently airing) each cover one book in author Diana Gabaldon’s eight-book Outlander series. Following in that tradition, seasons 3 and 4 will follow the 3rd and 4th books, ‘Voyager’ and ‘Drums of Autumn’, respectively.
For those who just can’t wait to find out Jamie and Claire’s fate, it may be time to hit the bookstore. For everyone else, ‘Outlander’ airs Saturday nights at 9pm/8pm central on Starz. Weekly previews and recaps can be found here on FanFest.com.
Kade is often described as, “here just a minute ago” and can often be found just around the corner from where you’d expect. Approaching is not encouraged, unless you come with a strong wifi connection and a nice charcuterie board with gluten-free breads.
