TRAILER: ‘Happy Death Day’ is a Killer Twist on ‘Groundhog Day’
Think back to Groundhog Day. Remember how Bill Murray’s Phil would repeat the same day over and over by waking up to Sonny and Cher’s ‘I Got You Babe’ and the announcement on the radio that it was Groundhog Day? Well, the same thing happens in the trailer for Universal Pictures Happy Death Day, except that college student Tree wakes up after being killed over and over by the same person and must relieve the day in order to unmask the killer. Ironically, Tree’s “Death Day” just so happens to fall on her birthday. Check it out below:
Happy Death Day hits theaters on Friday, October 13th.
