Spider-Man: Homecoming was one of the biggest films of 2017, and rightfully so. Tom Holland made his solo film debut as the hero (after appearing in Captain America: Civil War on Team Stark) and he wowed audiences around the world.

Now, Spider-Man is making waves again but this time in a different, and heartwarming way. We all know that this is the season to be generous, yet, the word seems an understatement for this one.

The Marines paired with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and ScreenBid.com this year to raise thousands for their Toys for Tots program, benefiting underprivileged children. The money raised allows families to buy presents, and this year, their reach will be incredible.  Check out the heartwarming video of the event below:

The authentic suit, worn by Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Homecoming was auctioned off on ScreenBid for $41,000, which led to $37K being donated to the organization. In addition, Spidey visited a Marine base in California to deliver the money, donate some Spider-Man DVDs, and take part in other holiday festivities.

Tis the season to be generous, and we have to say, with the help of some of the biggest and bravest heroes – we think this Christmas season will be incredible for some very special kids and their families.

Spider-Man Homecoming is now available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital!
