Tom Cruise not Ruling out a ‘Superhero’ Role
After working in the industry for nearly four-decades, Tom Cruise has certainly made his mark on Hollywood. He’s conquered genres from thriller t0 drama to comedy to romance. One category that he has yet to jump into, is that of ‘Superhero’. I mean sure, you could consider Jack Reacher to be pretty close to a superhero; but I’m talking that of the Marvel, DC or Ideal Realm.
At CinemaCon expo in Las Vegas when asked if his Mission: Impossible -Fallout partner in crime, Henry Cavill, had discussed the possibility of taking on a superhero role – Tom wasn’t ruling it out. In an interview with MTV he talked about his interest in suiting up:
“No, we haven’t talked about that, actually. You know, there’s always another mountain in anything, in anything. I’ll never say no if I find something that’s interesting and I think an audience would like to see it and they’ll be entertained by it, and I feel like I could contribute something to it.”

Since Marvel has about 20 movies in the planning stages after the conclusion of Avengers 4 and the DCEU has a universe of heroes to choose from – there are certainly enough parts out there for Cruise to choose from, no matter how big or small the role may be. I personally think it would be awesome to see Jack Reacher make a cameo appearance!
Mission: Impossible – Fallout arrives in theaters on July 27, 2018.
