Titans: Season 3 Really Did Kill THAT Character!

Titans season 3 is finally here, and the first three episodes were awesome! Season 3 really did kill that character though, and even though it was different from the comics it was still very intense. This season is lining up to be the best one so far if you ask me!
From this point on we’ll be discussing spoilers for Titans season 3, so if you haven’t seen it yet you may want to wait and come back later. We just don’t want to ruin it for you… even though you probably already know.
Red Hood is a big character in DC Comics and everyone knows where he comes from. Well, it’s pretty similar in Titans. Jason goes after Joker by himself, like an idiot, and gets beat to death. Well, in the comics he actually blows up, but still. In Titans, Joker just uses the crowbar and that’s the end of that.
Except it’s not, since the second episode reveals that Red Hood is actually Jason, alive once more. Titans has not yet revealed how he came back to life, but let’s just say we have some suspicions. We’ll find out soon enough.
However, there’s another death that was kind of shocking. Unlike the comics, after Bruce finds out what happened he takes a crowbar to the Joker’s head and kills him. That’s right, Batman kills the Joker. Then he tells Dick to be a better Batman and departs, possibly to never be heard from again.
That’s very different from the comics, where Jason is upset that Bruce didn’t kill the Joker. His anger this time is more focused on Dick and the Titans. We’ll have to wait through the upcoming weeks to see how that plays out. Can there be redemption for Jason? I mean, Titans season 3 really did kill that character…
The first three episodes of Titans are on HBO Max and you can watch them now!
