‘Timeless’ NOT Running Out of Time!!! Renewed For Season 2

#TVShocker That’s right folks! You heard it! NBC’s Timeless has just been renewed for season 2 just days after the announcement that the network would be canceling the series.
Showrunners Shawn Ryan and Eric Kripke tweeted that producer Sony was shopping the series around to other outlets. Loyal fans of the show began a #SaveTimeless campaign…and it worked!!
Kripke’s tweet below:

Hmmmmm…now, does that mean that I didn’t eat those 2 In-n-Out cheeseburgers on Thursday? Ummmm, YEAH! I’ll take going back in time any day. To save a series or my diet!
After his initial tweet, Kripke later followed with a correction regarding the time of year the new season may be premiering.

Ryan also had this to say, thanking fans for fighting so hard and Kripke followed with another tweet thanking the network for their support.

So, once again, at this point, Timeless has nothing but time. Thanks to new ownership, network support and loyal fans.
Timeless stars Abigail Spencer, Malcolm Barrett and Matt Lanter. The three actors portray Lucy, Rufus and Wyatt. They travel through time in pursuit of criminal mastermind (Goran Visnjic) who is dead set on changing the course of history which could potentially be catastrophic.
