Thor’s hammer, one of the most iconic props in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and of any comic book superhero, would be a treasure to any fan. However, Thor’s real life wife, actresss Elsa Pataky, said that her husband’s obsession with bringing home the hammers has gone too far. Chris Hemsworth, her husband and the actor who portrays Thor in the films, has brought home nearly 5 hammers from each film.
Pataky told the radio show, “Fitzy & Wippa”, that she’s put her foot down and the obsession has to stop. She told the show that he was placing the hammers randomly throughout the house.
“Yes he always picks the best places in the house, and I’m like, ‘It’s not going there,’ Pataky said.
“We have five of them from every movie we’ve done, like, seriously, no.”
“How funny, so no more hammers?” Radio host Whippa said to Pataky, who laughed.
And yes, no more hammers. Hemsworth’s fourth film that will focus on Thor, Thor: Love and Thunder, will be released on November 5, 2021. This fourth film will see the hammer go to Portman’s character, Jane Foster. The film will be directed by Taika Waititi, who directed Thor: Ragnarok in 2017.

This is post P-90x. I’m saying I watched the videos. I’m not saying I participated. Born in my mom’s basement, I’ve stayed there to embody the stereotype. One day I will rise up… to the main floor of the house.
