With just days until the season 2 premiere of This Is Us, we are rewatching their favorite episodes, reliving some moments that made love grow within our own hearts and preparing ourselves for the extreme and detrimental loss we’ll undoubtedly feel when the season returns.
While Mandy Moore gave an interview where she said Jack ‘isn’t going anywhere’ we do know that his death will be addressed this season, and in addition, we’ve still got to watch the fallout between Jack and Rebecca when the series returns. In fact, that’s where season 2 is picking up.
To prepare fans, This Is Us put together a video ‘Three Minutes of Pure Pearson Joy’ where the cast got together to talk to us about the series, what we can expect from season 2, and why it’s as important to them as it is to all of us. Each cast member had something beautiful to say about the series that changed its viewers, and in turn, made us relate to the show even more.
We want to see real life, we want to see love and heartache and what it takes to survive the darkness when you’ve known such light. We want to know that ‘this is us’ truly shows us, in many dimensions, and that’s what the series has done and will continue to do.
While the show aims to bring a lot of emotion into the hearts of its viewers, Sterling K Brown and Milo Ventimiglia summed it up best when they said what the series will hopefully do for all of us.
Hopefully, it’ll remind you of the strength of human connection, and at the foundation and at the heart of it is love and goodness and kindness and hope.
Get ready for three minutes of pure Pearson joy.

We think we speak for everyone when we say, they nailed it. We certainly understand human connection better now, or at least, we allow ourselves to feel it that way.
Will you be tuning in on September 26th to see season 2 premiere? Let us know.
