‘This Is Us’ Episode 3 Preview Is All About the Time Hopping

That’s right, it’s all about the time hopping on This Is Us next week and I’m not just talking about its move to 9:00 pm EST (which you should all make note of!).
Still shocked by that twist at the end of last week’s This Is Us? Same. However, based on the promo for Epsiode 3 “Kyle” and its description it doesn’t look like we will be getting any answers next week as to why Rebecca and Jack are no longer together in the present timeline.
Instead we are flashing back to them shortly after bringing the babies home from the hospital. The two are dealing with all of the troubles and stress that accompany going from a family of two to a family of five overnight, while also dealing with the loss of their third triplet (presumable Kyle, which is also the name of the episode).
In the present timeline, Toby is still being adorable and taking Kate out on a date where she is the star instead of living in her brother’s shadow. Randall is trying to figure out what he can do to help save his father, who is fighting a losing battle with stage 4 stomach cancer. Rebecca is also going to meet the man who left her son on the stoop of a fire station that night 36 years ago.
Check out the video and description below for more about Episode 3, “Kyle”

Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
