We were just days ago given an official release date for Zack Snyder’s Justice League. We learned at the same time that Justice League was actually completely finished, meaning it is ready for release. Sadly that doesn’t mean they’re just slapping it onto HBO Max immediately. Instead, they are waiting until March, specifically March 18th. So, luckily the wait isn’t super long at least, which is good. I’m incredibly excited to see this version of Justice League after all the hubbub. Zack Snyder has been answering questions about the film, most recently one about Cyborg (Ray Fisher). Now we know that this Cyborg moment was cut. He was asked on Vero whether or not Cyborg would say his iconic booyah line and he responded pretty directly. I’ll let you see the answer for yourself down below.
Nerds are really mad at this lmao. Go get a life y'all. And maybe do some research on what makes cyborg, CYBORG.

There you have it in plain English, my friends. Cyborg will OFFICIALLY not say booyah in Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League. We’ve heard a lot about the differences between the two films. Snyder has even gone on the record to state that he’s barely using any Joss Whedon footage at all if any. We’ll be able to see all the differences in just a few short months. The best part is if you already have an HBO Max subscription you can watch it as soon as they put it on the streaming service.
Saying booyah was also a huge issue for Ray Fisher, or so he’s said. He had some issues saying the line when doing the reshoots for Whedon. He eventually caved in and did it but he clearly wasn’t happy about it. Jon berg even said, “I remember [Fisher] being upset that we wanted him to say ‘Booyah,’ which is a well-known saying of Cyborg in the animated series.” Recently it seems that Warner Bros have parted ways with Ray Fisher which is unfortunate but might be for the best. We hope for nothing but the best for Mr. Fisher going forward and look forward to seeing his future work.
How do you feel about this Cyborg moment being cut?
