Black Lightning’s Patrick Lamont Jr. and Damon Gupton Share Favorite Things to do in Atlanta
We are heading into Heroes & Villains Fan Fest Atlanta November 18th and 19th, and what better way to celebrate than to ask some stars about their favorite Atlanta spots?
We asked Black Lightning stars Patrick Lamont Jr, and Damon Gupton who are currently filming the new DC superhero show in Atlanta, to share a few local recommendations.
Here’s what they shared with us!
Nature Lovers
Patrick says:
- Sweet Water Creek Park
I am a huge nature guy, love hiking and trees. I love Sweet Water Creek Park. They have nice hiking trails and beautiful scenery. It’s about 30 minutes from the city.
Music Lovers
Damon says:
- Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
Food, Glorious Food
Patrick says:
- Six Feet Under Pub
On 11th street is a great seafood restaurant, my favorite dish there is the crab stuffed salmon and salmon sliders, their hush puppies are amazing as well.
They have a great outside patio upstairs with an amazing view of the city.
Damon says:
- Urban Fix
- Iberian Pig in Decatur
Libations
Patrick says:
- Bar Hopping on Edgewood
Friday and Saturday nights, Edgewood Ave. is usually LIT. There’s a lot of great bars with great drinks and music.
You heard him! It’s lit!
- Little Trouble
Is a great restaurant with a cool retro feel and great drinks and food.
In The City
Patrick says:
- Piedmont Park
Great park in the center of Atlanta.
If you’re in Atlanta this weekend, be sure to check out some of their recommendations!
