When The Walking Dead airs episode 9×06 this Sunday, things are going to be looking quite different. As revealed in the closing moments of “What Comes After” a significant time jump will be taking place, bringing the series six years into the future. Judith Grimes is now a pint-sized ass-kicker and everything from the communities to the walkers have evolved. Rick Grimes and Maggie Rhee may not be around anymore, but this new chapter of The Walking Dead is ready to carry on their legacy and take viewers to a world they never expected. Take a look at some of the exclusive images released by AMC from the upcoming episode, “Who Are You Now?” below!
Roughly six years may have passed, but Daryl is still not ready to say goodbye to those locks:
But while we are on the subject of hair, let’s all bow down to Michonne’s new look:
Negan cleaned up a bit too:
And we can’t even wrap our head’s around Carol’s new hair, which is equal parts awesome, Laurie Strode, and Lord of the Rings:
Basically, we can’t wait to meet this new Carol:
Meanwhile, Aaron is rocking some new hardware after having his arm amputated earlier this season:
Ladies and Gentleman, meet the new Judith Grimes, who will be played Cailey Fleming:
Everybody better watch out because this girl’s got the fighting spirit of Rick, Carl, Shane, Michonne, and Lori all wrapped up into one.
We can’t wait to see what the relationship between Michonne and Judith is like after six years.
As well as whether or not Michonne is still leading Alexandria.
The episode will pick up shortly after Judith brings Magna (Nadia Hilker), Yumiko (Eleanor Matsuura), Luke (Dan Fogler), Connie (Lauren Ridloff) and Kelly (Angel Theory) back to Alexandria.
We’re hoping that Ezekiel and Carol have taken their rightful places as the King and Queen of Hilltop:
Of course, with Jerry as their right-hand man:
Little Henry is all grown up now (and will be played by Matt Lintz – the third Lintz sibling on the show). He is the older brother of Macsen Lintz, who played young Henry.
It looks like Rosita will be stepping up at Alexandria:
And Eugene is taking his character to new heights:Gene Page/AMC

Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
