With just a little over three weeks until the midseason premiere, a new teaser trailer for The Walking Dead 8B has just dropped and it’s promising a lot of action, tension and a declaration that it’s “time to finish the fight.” Check out the teaser below!
The trailer opens with Michonne and Rick carrying a bitten Carl through the destruction of Alexandria, but the teaser makes a point to not dwell on his demise and instead barrels ahead towards what to expect from the rest of the season with guns blazing.
We see Enid back at the Hilltop, despite murdering an Oceansider in the midseason finale, Eugene crafting bullets, Morgan off on his own, Tara and Dwight conflict, Dwight standing with Simon, Ezekiel still captured, and Rick declaring “this is where you die” to presumably Negan, who is rocking a fresh new haircut.
Even though we know the season opener will focus mainly on Carl and Rick’s relationship, we have to admit that we are looking forward to seeing the All Out War finally come to a head and then a close. The Walking Dead returns for an extended episode on February 25, 2018, with “Honor.” where”Rick faces new difficulties after a battle. Meanwhile, the fight continues in other communities as core members face hard decisions.”

Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
