‘The Walking Dead’: The Best Tweets From “What Comes After”
Published on November 5th, 2018 | Updated on November 5th, 2018 | By FanFest
Every week after the latest episode of The Walking Dead, we are taking to Twitter to round up some of the best observations, jokes, and commentary about our favorite band of survivors. Of course, the latest episode “What Comes After” was a pretty emotional journey as we said goodbye to both Rick Grimes and Maggie Rhee. Thankfully, we aren’t saying goodbye to either permanently because AMC announced that they’re expanding the Walking Dead universe to include original films starring Andrew Lincoln, new series, digital content, and more! So, much like the episode, this Twitter roundup is an emotional roller coaster – enjoy.
Here are some of the best tweets from last night’s episode of The Walking Dead “What Comes After”:

You can always tell when it’s a Greg Nicotero-directed episode. As painful as it is to watch Rick Grimes leave, this episode is already a beautiful masterpiece! #RickGrimes #AndrewLincoln #TheWalkingDead #TWD #TWDFamily @WalkingDead_AMC

Tonight’s #TheWalkingDead was called “What Comes After.” I like to think it was also a nod to a moment from season 8, ep 7 when Jadis/Anne repeatedly told Rick it was “Time for After.” I guess now we know “what comes after.” https://t.co/jwpWKRUCfS pic.twitter.com/cEULgEa8ve

The story continues next week on The Walking Dead. Tune in on Sunday at 9/8c for the next chapter!
Having studied Media & Writing at James Madison University, I always knew that I wanted to do some type of creative writing, but being able to write about zombies, Starks, and superheroes on a daily basis for Fan Fest is my actual dream. While I probably shouldn’t be as proud as I am to be so similar to Nick Miller, I do hope to one day write my own “Pepperwood Chronicles’.
