‘The Walking Dead: Our World’ Mobile Game to Tie into AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 9 with New Missions

Charge up your cell phones an get ready for new and exciting missions because the latest mobile game update from AMC and Next Games is taking The Walking Dead: Our World to a whole new level!
Coinciding with The Walking Dead television show returning to AMC for its ninth season this Sunday, The Walking Dead: Our World mobile game will begin adding all-new weekly content based on the show! Following the premiere this Sunday, and then of each new episode to follow, new and exclusive missions themed after the show will become available. The new missions will also bring about new content including guaranteed TV show characters as rewards for completing the missions, single encounter missions and also larger group encounters (aka. infestations) all for an even greater prize. New missions will begin on October 8th and will become available every Monday following new episodes.

The Walking Dead: Our World puts its players smack in the middle of a global zombie apocalypse. The mobile game further expands the universe of AMC’s The Walking Dead through the use of augmented reality. Players complete missions (either solo or by competing in weekly missions alongside their friends) to find supplies, rescue fellow survivors and battle hordes of zombies right in their own neighborhoods. Each mission is completed alongside their favorite heroes from the TV series, including Daryl, Michonne and Rick either from the comfort of the players’ own home or by traveling to famous landmarks Statue of Liberty, the London Eye, and Burj Khalifa.
