The Walking Dead: Norman Reedus Won Money From A Walking Dead Slot Machine!? Quite A Lot too! What A Lucky Guy!
The Walking Dead is one of the AMC network’s longest-running and most successful television shows. The show will be coming to an end. With the show’s popularity, it has been able to roll into tons of merchandise and licensing opportunities, including Las Vegas slot machines! When the show ends, actors won’t be able to make money from acting on the show, but how about making money from playing one of the show’s slots?
Norman Reedus plays Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead and is officially the show’s longest-tenured character. Reedus and The Walking Dead are almost synonymous, which makes it ironic that the actor would win a bunch of money on a Walking Dead-themed slot game.
In 2018, Reedus went to Las Vegas for the CES convention and hit the jackpot. According to Undead Walking, Reedus was at one of the casinos when he decided to take a gamble with a Walking Dead slot machine. Not only did Reedus hit the jackpot on the first try, but he won over $800 on the Daryl Dixon character.
Reedus later told Jimmy Fallon, “I put in a dollar, I hit the button, I start recording it … (I won) a little over $850 … I thought I was being punked or something.” Reedus ended up sharing the phone footage of his win to social media.
The Walking Dead returns this August for its final season.
