The Walking Dead: Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s SDCC Hotel Room is Full of Little Andrew Lincolns

This year, The Walking Dead panel at San Diego Comic-Con will undoubtedly feel a little bittersweet. On one hand, there is tons of excitement surrounding the show’s season 10 trailer drop. On the other hand, one of the show’s former most shining stars will be noticeably missing from the stage.

Of course, we’re talking about everyone’s favorite former apocalyptic leader, Rick Grimes himself, Andrew Lincoln. Unless Lincoln has a surprise appearance up his sleeve, this will be the first SDCC panel without him present. He left the series during the show’s 9th season. Lincoln may be missing from the stage, but he’s definitely there in everyone’s hearts, and particularly in Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s hotel room!

Morgan revealed via his Twitter page, that his hotel room is infested with tiny, cut-out Andrew Lincolns. Apparently, whoever prepared his room decided to have a little bit of fun with The Walking Dead star, and completely covered his room with pictures of his friend.

Morgan’s first tweet showed pictures of Lincoln stashed everywhere; from his bed, to his door, to the mirror, and yes. Even on the toilet!

Norman Reedus, who apparently also received a room full of Andys, has not yet shared with his fans on social media. Morgan, however, loved the playful prank and followed up his first tweet by saying, “Our friends at the hotel decorated mine and @wwwbigbaldhead rooms. Pretty damn cute.”

After a long day of traveling, Morgan went to hop into bed for a quick snooze. Just when he thought he was safe, another Andy popped up in his bed. He writes, “Just found another Andy when I pulled down the covers. Nice job to the little hotel elf… who was very busy. Xojd”

Prank wars between Lincoln and Norman Reedus were known to reach their heights during SDCC weekend. Perhaps that intensity has spilled over to Jeffrey Dean Morgan as well.

The Walking Dead cast and crew will take the stage at San Diego Comic-Con tomorrow, Friday, July 19th, at 1 PM PST.
