The Walking Dead: Fans Let Showrunner, Angela Kang, Know they’re Upset for Lack News on Carol & Daryl Spinoff

So it looks like some Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) devotees are getting increasingly worried about the interest surrounding the previously announced AMC The Walking Dead spinoff, which will focus on them. A lot of it has to do with them feeling that they’ve heard more about Negan’s (Jeffery Dean Morgan) and Maggie’s (Lauren Cohan) spinoff, Isle of the Dead.

The spinoff’s future is in doubt, with rumors ranging from the show being canceled to it serving as a front for one of them to die by the time the original program ends. Social media has recently been humming with talk about a solo Daryl series, in which McBride would not be reprising her role.

So, what does this have to do with the showrunner of The Walking Dead, Angela Kang?

Well, in a post to Instagram, Kang was good enough to show her return to her Los Angeles office after a lengthy absence in 2020. The comments area was flooded with spin-off inquiries. Some nice. Some not so nice. Just some friendly advice for the rest of the fandom? The Walking Dead just wrapped filming on an amazing 11-season run. Give them a break!

We’re just a few months away from the final chapters of The Walking Dead, but it’s not too early to get a sneak peek at what’s to come in Season 11 Part 3.

This clip sees Mercer (Michael James Shaw) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) comparing notes, Daryl and Maggie (Lauran Cohan) hiding from Commonwealth forces, Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Aaron (Ross Marquand) not looking so good, Carol being the shady kind we need right now, and Daryl bringing “Rick Grimes” back into the conversation. Here’s your first glimpse of what’s to come as AMC’s The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 3 debuts this fall.
